This marble’s harder
Than any stone has ever been
Thick walls that cover
A warmth I want to stay in
Marvellous colours
Are proof of hard labour
Beauty that time
Has been caressing
But suddenly some cracks arise
An inner movement, by surprise
Blood is rushing, breath is short, nothing is what it ever seemed to be
Nausea’s coming up imagining everything that could be, could be
A bold cold
is appealing
I want to jump in
On its surface I spin
Surrounded
By walls echoing
In its stillness
My voice seems to sing
But suddenly ripples arise
An inner movement, by surprise
Greens are pushing through I cannot do anything but witness this movement, movement
Tentacles are making their way to the surface, skin cuts open, displays, it displays
They say what comes up must come down, deconstruction’s the only way
Marble’s cracking and I obey, to the light co -ming my way

The moon, is following us
A pink blue sky,
Tiny drops shine, on the horizon
The animals surround us
Making sure,
Our path’s secured
They follow our steps in silence
Oh shout, to the sound, of everything seeming to be in tune
I shout, jump into, the safety net that appears when I let go
The shepherd takes the lead
through narrow streets
Where dust and heat
Support his bare feet
The codes of the night
Are on our side
Malice hides
Is too shy, to disturb our high
Oh shout, to this walk, an occurrence of serendipity
New grounds, embrace me, give space to this serenity
This this this this this this walk, walk, walk…

Squared is the space I’m in
A box is sealed, nothing’s breathing
Salt, is the water I taste
Eyelashes breathe, softly on my face
Eyelids, swollen of memories
that try to take over the present
Then she rises
like the morning sun
Something calms her,
She is drawn
I smile to that that will come
Change is movement
Let it come
Her hand
Resting in mine
Her absent jewelry draws a line
Her place, for me to land
Nothing at hand, and yet she stands
Fierce, like a queen who crowned
Her life with loyalty to what she found
A mirage appeared to me
gracefully, swam underneath
water ripples fading her way
